_i really like minimalistic book covers, but the reason i’m including it here is because of a coincidence: it was haruki murakami (last last post) who translated this classic (last post) to japanese. by the way, kyaccha in za rai it’s not a translation, it’s just catcher in the rye with “japanese accent”.

_it was a strict requirement from j.d. salinger that his books covers could only include the title, his name, and nothing else. that’s why the brazillian version is so lame. that’s also why this penguin version is so beautiful.
